Democratizing Economy

We are currently witnessing an Indonesian economy that is not democratic enough has exacerbated the problem of inequality and has resulted in weakening economic resilience.

We support collaborative efforts to make economic systems and resources more accessible and fair to all, rather than concentrating wealth and power in the hands of a few. We support the creation of just economic policies that no longer blame and view workers, the poor, and other marginalized groups as burdens, that do not view and treat the environment and human rights and anti-corruption as obstacles to development.

We support efforts to increase openness, transparency, fair competition, and checks and balances and increase inclusiveness in the economic sector and more meaningful participation in decision-making around economic regulations and policies. Creating a more democratic and equitable economy that benefits a broader segment of society.
