Beyond Lawyering

We have had a personal corporate pro bono programme in our office that, in collaboration with different civil society organisations and communities, offers its knowledge and sources the possibility to contribute in social activities on a pro bono and voluntary basis. Some of the foundations with which we collaborate are:

  • Indonesia untuk Kemanusiaan — with whom we collaborate on a voluntary basis in providing expertise and knowledge on the effort to develop civil society’s transformative resourcing,
  • Yayasan Kurawal — with whom we collaborate on a voluntary basis in supporting the preservation of democracy and human rights movement in Indonesia
  • The Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD) — with whom we support its advocacy against impunity
  • Responsibank Coalition –with whom we collaborate on a voluntary basis in advocating green and social taxonomy and fair finance
  • Forum Pajak Berkeadilan Indonesia – with whom we collaborate on a voluntary basis in providing expertise and knowledge on researching and analysing the practice of tax evasion and avoidance and advocating tax justice

We have had programme in our office that, in collaboration with legal aid organisations, law firms and bar association, offers its knowledge, expertise and resources in transforming our law society. Some collaboration are:

  • Lembaga Bantuan Hukum Jakarta– with whom we provide mentoring programs to young legal aid lawyers
  • Asosiasi Konsultan Hukum Bisnis dan HAM — with whom we share expertise, experience and resources
  • Asosiasi Pengacara Syariah Indonesia — with whom our founder serve as advosory committee members
  • Peradi — with whom we promote the integrity of legal profession and professional legal enabler programme
